How do I change my vehicle's availability?

Keeping up with your vehicle’s availability on DRIVESHARE is important for transactions to run smoothly and to avoid any disappointment for interested guests. Whether the car will be down for maintenance, in seasonal storage or was sold, this how-to article will guide you through deactivating and reactivating your listing or blocking off dates on the calendar.


 



Note: If you only plan to make your car unavailable for a particular period of time (e.g. you're on vacation or it's stored for the winter), we recommend using the calendar to block out the dates in which the car will not be available over completely deactivating your listing. That way your vehicle will be available in search results and potential guests will be able to contact you about future events.


 


How to update your vehicle's calendar:


 



After logging in at driveshare.com, click on the drop-down menu located in the top right corner of the homepage (lower-right for mobile app users), and then select “My collection” and then "Vehicles."


 


Next, select the vehicle that you would like to update.


 



This will bring you to the listing editing page. Select "Pricing and availability." From there, you can activate and deactivate your rental options (Driving, Event and Chauffeured) and adjust daily pricing. By using the calendar on each screen you can update the vehicle's availability (e.g., if you will be away on a vacation on selected dates), or customize your weekend and holiday pricing.


 



To completely remove your vehicle from DRIVESHARE, select “Inactive” after clicking on the car in your collection. For mobile app users, click on the ellipsis on the top, right and then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu. To reactivate your listing at a later date, follow the above instructions and then select “Active.
