Keeping up with your vehicle’s availability on DriveShare is important for transactions to run smoothly and to avoid any disappointment for interested renters. Whether the car will be down for maintenance, out in seasonal storage, or was sold, this how-to article will guide you through deactivating and reactivating your listing or blocking off dates on the calendar.
Note: If you only plan to make your car unavailable for a particular period of time (e.g. you're on vacation or it's stored for the winter), we recommend using the calendar to block out the dates in which the car will not be available over completely deactivating your listing. That way, your vehicle will be available in search results so potential renters will be able to contact you about future events around your scheduled availability.
How to update your vehicle's calendar:
After logging in at DriveShare.com, click on the drop-down menu located in the top right corner of the homepage (lower, right for mobile app users), and then select “My Cars”.
Next, select the vehicle that you would like to update.
This will bring you to the listing editing page. If you scroll down, you will see the availability calendar. To block off dates simply enter them under "Edit Price and Availability", select "Not available" and then "Save". This is also where you can alter your listing’s weekend or seasonal pricing.
